Tensions explode as rumors implicate Confederate leadership
The quiet Fulminaran town of Ravens Creek has been thrown into mourning and outrage after authorities confirmed that 13 children died and dozens more were hospitalized following the contamination of the town’s primary water reservoir late Tuesday evening.
Initial investigations by the Fulminaran Emergency Health Authority revealed traces of industrial toxins deliberately introduced into the water system. Officials now believe the attack was “highly coordinated” and likely carried out by Karvenian Confederate Rebel operatives who crossed the border during the night.
The tragedy comes only days after the Fulminaran Council overwhelmingly passed a humanitarian aid package intended to provide food, medicine, and infrastructure assistance to civilians in war-torn Karvenia.
Now, fury is spreading across the nation as unconfirmed intelligence leaks and political rumors suggest the attack may have been personally authorized by Confederate President When W.
Crowds gathered overnight outside government buildings in major cities, chanting: “Hey hey, WW, how many kids did you kill today?”
while flags were lowered to half-staff in Ravens Creek.
Emperor BH addressed the nation this morning: “The poisoning of innocent children is not warfare. It is barbarism. Fulminare will identify those responsible and respond with strength and unity.” Head of Council Ben is expected to make a statement later today.
There is currently no word out of Karvenian Confederate officials on the matter.
